Nyeri County is one of the most famous coffee-producing regions in the world. Nyeri is home to the Kiama Farmers Cooperative Society, which consists of more than 3,000 members who deliver their coffee cherries grown in the fertile volcanic soil characteristic of this region.

These mills, such as the one in Ndaroini, where this coffee is processed, allow the producers to obtain very high-quality harvests. The company also offers transportation services, accounting, management, and access to seeds for the crops.

This cooperative was founded in 2009 and supported by the Government to be able to respond to the needs of Kenyan coffee farmers and thus have more control over marketing and their own production.

The roasting of this coffee brings out an incredibly sweet and fruity fragrance, whose typical Kenyan acidity is muted with notes of raspberry, a medium and creamy body. It is a very versatile coffee, ideal for filter preparation methods, Chemex, Aeropress, V60, French press, etc., and espresso.
