Kaffa is located in the Bonga area, where more than one hundred Ethiopian investors have worked to create and develop farms to grow high-quality Arabica coffee. It has excellent geographical conditions in its favor, with a very rich soil, perfect for the production of specialty coffees. The altitude at which they cultivate it, is between 1600 and 1900 meters the soil, with very favorable temperatures for coffee production. The area is famous for having the highest levels of rainfall and is therefore considered one of the rainiest regions in Ethiopia. It is listed as one of the first two biosphere reserves in Ethiopia, and the coffee forests of the former kingdom of Kaffa was recognized as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in early June 2010.
Gesha is one of the districts of the Kaffa area, where the most ambitious grain of all comes from, Panama Geisha, which is born in Ethiopia but is grown in different countries in the world, where a cup of this precious coffee can be around $ 75 and $ 110.
This variety of coffee has a medium body, some notes of tangerine flavor, spices such as cardamom, and quite sweet and intense.
It becomes a perfect drink for both filter and milk.
